2016 Chongqing Municipal Recruitment Activity in Hongkong and Macao was held successfully

At the invitation of University of Macau and the Chinese University of Hong Kong, sponsored by Chongqing Municipal Party Committee Organization Department and Human Resources and Social Security Department, organized by China Services International Chongqing, the Chongqing 2016 Talent Exchange Activities in Hong Kong & Macau came to a successful end on November 28.

A total of two job fairs were held in the activities, of which the Macau fair was held in University of Macau on November 23 and the Hong Kong fair was held in the Chinese University of Hong Kong on November 25, attracting more than 100 excellent Hong Kong and Macau talents.

The exchange team leader and Chongqing Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Department’s Labor Dispute Mediation & Arbitration Office Director Guan Shu introduced the economic and social development in Chongqing, talent and intelligence attracting policies and the demand for badly-needed talents. The job fair was hosted by the Administration & HR Manager Chen Feng of Chongqing Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Department, at which Southwest University, Chongqing Normal University, Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Chongqing Health Center for Women and Children and other units made introductions and presentations.

The Talent Exchange Activities in Hong Kong & Macau achieved the following results: first, introduce excellent talents. At the job fair site, 62 persons reached preliminary intentions, including 13 doctors, 48 postgraduates and 1 undergraduate and 7 intention agreements were signed (Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications signed intention agreements with Shuai Qiqi, a PhD in Electrical and Electronic Information Engineering from University of Hong Kong and Luo Zhen, a PhD in Communications from City University of Hong Kong; Chongqing Art Performance Group signed intention agreements on talent introduction with Huang Yunqi, a master in Global Communication from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and Li Meng, a master in Culture Industry Management from City University of Macau; Rongzhi College of Chongqing Technology and Business University signed a intention agreement on talent introduction with Qiu Sanshan, a master of economics from University of Hong Kong; Dongfeng Xiaokang Motor Co., Ltd. signed intention agreements on talent introduction with Zhang Fangyu, a master in Mechanical Engineering from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and Ma Xun, a bachelor of accounting from Macao Polytechnic Institute). Second, deepen project cooperation. Chongqing Human Resources Service Center conducted in-depth discussions with University of Macau, Macao Polytechnic Institute and the Chinese University of Hong Kong respectively and reached agreements on deepening the talent exchange cooperation between Chongqing and Hong Kong. It is expected that the scale and influence of university students exchange activities will be further expanded in 2017. Third, explore new cooperative projects. The exchange team visited the legal group consultants of Democratic Alliance for the Betterment and Progress of Hong Kong (DAB) and conducted in-depth communication on the settlement mechanism of labor dispute between the mainland and Hong Kong and Macau to preliminarily explore the establishment of Chongqing-Hong Kong labor dispute arbitration management and mutual assistance mechanism.
